Uncooled Short Wave Infrared LEOPAR-640/15-SW

LEOPAR 640/15-SW detector is a high resolution (640x512 format 15 µm pixel pitch) image sensor for military and civil applications.

LEOPAR 640/15-SW detector is comprised of the following major components:

  • A focal plane array (FPA) made of a 15 µm pitch 640x512 element detector array employing photovoltaic (PV) indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) on indium phosphide

  • (InP) substrate

  • A silicon readout integrated circuit (ROIC) connected to the FPA by indium bumps

  • A single stage Thermo Electric Cooler (TEC)

  • An electrical conduction ceramic package body with a kovar lid and a sapphire window to hermetically seal the FPA and the TEC under inert gas.
